Planning a milestone birthday at a private villa
A memorable birthday trip needs a clear plan and time to enjoy it. For a 40th, 50th or another meaningful milestone, start with the kind of gathering the guest of honor actually wants: a long dinner, a relaxed rooftop afternoon or a few days away with close friends.
Separate the overnight group from the celebration
First confirm who is staying in the villa and who might visit. Cemntus accommodates up to twenty overnight guests in ten bedrooms. That sleeping capacity is not an event guest allowance. Before inviting anyone beyond the staying group, ask the host to confirm visitor limits, hours, identification requirements and whether your proposed celebration can be accommodated.
Choose one main moment
Build the day around one priority, such as a private chef dinner or a birthday toast. Then arrange the other details around it. A useful brief includes the occasion, preferred date, number of guests, style of food, dietary needs, decorations and budget. Share references for the atmosphere you want, while leaving the team room to confirm what is practical in the villa.
Keep the service brief precise
Chef service, celebration styling, cocktails and a DJ are separate arrangements. Ask for each service’s inclusions, duration, pricing unit and any additional supplies or charges. Do not assume a bartender quote includes alcohol or that styling includes every item in a reference photo. Confirm those details before telling the group what is included.
Plan the music around the house rules
Music at the villa must end by 11 p.m., Medellín time. Work backward from that limit when scheduling a DJ, dinner and speeches. The surrounding neighborhood can remain lively later, so the villa’s music cutoff does not mean the area becomes silent. Angel’s Liquor and the street-level venues are separate from the private villa booking.
Give guests practical information early
Send the confirmed arrival time, room assignments and the guest guide before travel. Let people know how shared expenses will work and who is coordinating special requests. Keep surprises limited to the birthday itself; transport, sleeping arrangements and dietary requirements should be clear. Ask the concierge to help coordinate the details instead of asking every guest to message independently.
Plan a gentle departure
Leave time for breakfast, packing and transfers. Checkout is at noon, and a later departure must be agreed in advance. If you would like breakfast or another service the following morning, confirm the guest count and timing separately. Finish with a simple written schedule that everyone can follow, and contact Cemntus directly to confirm the accommodation booking and its terms.
